Responsibilities and tasks Front-end development (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript and RESTful APIs)
Qualifications and personal attributes 5+ years web development experience Excellent English skills, both written and oral Excellent demonstrable HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript knowledge Professional experience with jQuery or similar libraries Professional experience with Angular.js, Ember, Knockout or similar frameworks Professional experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS and LESS Professional experience with TDD - test driven development - using best of breed tools for Javascript development Grunt or similar build step technology Excellent understanding of modern web application development Experience with SOA and modern web architecture A good understanding of RESTful Web Service API’s Software design patterns Experience with developing for web accessibility (WCAG compliance) Source code management with Git Node.js based web application development Continuous delivery to cloud IaaS and PaaS providers such as Amazon EC2 and Heroku Experience with Selenium WebDriver or WebDriverJS Other programming languages, such as PHP, Python, Perl, Java, Clojure, Scala or Ruby
