为什么许多 Linux 发行版的默认浏览器是 FireFox 而不是 Chrome/Chromium?

除了时间早， Firefox 在 unix-like 各平台的表现很稳定，Google Chrome 是 Google 的商业产品，进入发行版需要分发许可，MySQL 就是因为 Oracle 修改了分发许可而被各发行版替换，其实某段时间 Chromium 是被选为 Ubuntu 的默认浏览器的

说实话linux上感觉ff工作的更好 但是Firefox得渲染引擎有些旧了 同时连一个现在还在维护的好用的翻墙插件都没有了 有时候不得不用chrome

Chromium 系在 Linux 下特别是低配机器上的表现不如 Firefox ，具体来说 CPU 的消耗异常惊艳，有人报过 Bug，有心不妨搜下

Firefox应该更接近自由软件，而chrome的发展毕竟决定于一个庞大的商业公司
