Dear Google App Engine Application Administrator,
As a follow up to our previous announcement, on November 7th, 2011 App Engine will be graduating from Preview status. This means that starting on the 7th, App Engine will have a new Terms of Service, SLA for paid Apps, and of course the new pricing structure will be in effect. This includes our last set of changes that eliminate the Incoming Bandwidth charges and reduce the cost for Outgoing Bandwidth and Blob storage.
The comparison bills that have been visible in your application's Billing History section reflect the cost of running your application under the new pricing structure. Please ensure you have properly adjusted your new budget before November 7th so that your app continues to operate smoothly when the price changes take effect.
Additionally, last month with our 1.5.5 release, we launched two related features worth highlighting here. Firstly, we made Premier accounts available for those interested in premium support, invoice billing, and unlimited app creation for your domain. Inquiries about Premier accounts can be sent to appengine_premier_requests@google.com. Secondly, we launched the Python 2.7 runtime as experimental, so that you can test your app against this runtime and make any changes necessary to use concurrent requests in Python.
If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact appengine_updated_pricing@google.com. We're excited for this milestone in App Engine history, and we look forward to what the future will bring.
