在学习 Swift 的时候，尝试了 Xcode 的 Swift Playground 。不禁让我联想起多年以前看过的 Bret Victor 的视频 Inventing on your Principle 。和朋友吹牛，我说发现这两个东西很像。谁知道一查，发现还真有联系。 Chris Lattner (LLVM, Swift 的主要负责人) 在[他的个人主页]( http://nondot.org/sabre/)上提到：

> Playgrounds were heavily influenced by Bret Victor's ideas, by Light Table and by many other interactive systems 。

有趣的是 Bret Victor 本人并不知道，甚至还[在 Quora 上否定了这一点]( https://www.quora.com/Did-Bret-Victor-work-with-Apple-on-the-design-of-Swift-Playground)。 Light Table 官网的文章 [Light Table and Apple's Swift](Light Table and Apple's Swift) 也谈过这件事。

与其说我对 Light Table 感兴趣，不如说我对作者的设计理念感兴趣。事实上，从 LT 现在的近况和作者频频做出的反思来看，这个项目本身并不成功（虽然在 kickstarter 上众筹了不少钱）

作者在个人网站的很多篇文章里，重新思考 LT 及他对编程、编程工具的看法。我看了他网站和 LT 官网 archive 里所有的文章，觉得以下几篇值得阅读。
