去年三月开始换了个工作平台,基本撤离 Upwork 。
这将近一年时间里就间隙打了两次念 700 中文短语的小零工,攒了 80 刀。
结果上周 Upwork 在未提前告知的情况下,把这笔钱强行电汇到我的国内银行账号,收了 30 刀手续费!!!
以前我都是攒两三个月才汇一次,就是为了省这手续费的。结果这次相当于是我为了拿到 50 刀,浪费了 30 刀的手续费,简直郁闷坏了……
申述到 Upwork Support ,态度很友好,但就是不解决问题。说白了就是在耍流氓,爱咋咋地。

I have checked your account and see that you had an available balance since Jul 12, 2015 on your account (see: http://prntscr.com/xxxxxxxx). Last Sept 29, 2014, a new update was implemented wherein funds that are over 180 days old must be disbursed either on your scheduled disbursement schedule or by default, at the end of the quarter (new maximum disbursement period). If some of the funds are 180 days old, all the funds are included in the disbursement. Because of that, your available funds were automatically transferred to your chosen payment method on your payment schedule because they've been in your account for over 180 days. Also, once withdrawal is initiated through Wire Transfer, it can't be cancelled or reversed. But, if the bank account number is incorrect, and you transferred your funds to it, the funds will be returned to your Upwork account minus the additional fees or penalties your bank may assess.

Thank you for looking into it. BUT I am very unhappy with the explanation.
First, Upwork did not send any email/message about the change about "a new update was implemented wherein funds that are over 180 days old must be disbursed either on your scheduled disbursement schedule or by default, at the end of the quarter (new maximum disbursement period)".
Second, I did not sign any terms and agreements to authorize oDesk or Upwork to automatically transfer MY money except the scheduled plan.
Third, Upwork should at least notify me a few days earlier about the automatic transfer.
In conclusion, it is Upwork's fault to have me lose 30 dollars for service fee.
PLEASE SEND 30 DOLLARS BACK TO MY BALANCE!!!

Thanks for your response, and I completely understand how you feel about this. An email notification was sent out to users on Sept 22, 2014 before it went live on Sept 29, 2014 (sample: http://prntscr.com/xxxxx). The transferring of funds is a highly regulated process, and although we do facilitate payments between freelancers and clients, we're not allowed to act as a bank — which is essentially what happens when money is held in an account over an extended period of time. Because of this, when your funds are over 180 days, they must be paid out either on the scheduled payment schedule or by default, at the end of the quarter. And, I'd like to reiterate that withdrawal via Wire Transfer can't be reversed. As for the notification, we'll definitely make sure to relay this information to our Production Team for review since we want only what's best for our users.

I swear that oDesk/Upwork did not send any email notification to me about that change. See the attached screenshot.
I am very very disappointed with the automatic-without-authorization-and-notification payment transfer and the unreasonable support explanation.
This would be my last response to this ticket and I would not waste my valuable time here.
I will declare Upwork stole 30 dollars from me if it does not come back to my balance in 3 days.
