Job Summary Red Hat CEE Unified Certification Team is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join us in Beijing, China. Our team is working on developing a web based application to help our customer/partner to achieve their Redhat certifications on software, hardware, and cloud products across Red Hat ’ s spectrum of products and solutions. In this role, you will have the chance to both create new micro web services using a variety of languages and technologies as well as refining an established code-base. You will work on our certification workflow engine project with a focus on RESTFUL web-service design collaborating with global teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities Design and develop new features
Maintain existing features and response for bug fix. Extract functions to be independent web service from existing code-base Participate in create a net new object storage service Write unit and functional tests for your code Assist others in writing unit and functional tests Review code for other team members Participate in knowledge share sessions like lunch & learns Collaborate with PMs on prioritizing workload around release schedules. Collaborate with Quality Engineers on defining manual and automated tests Collaborate internally and externally to enable the whole workflow Play active role in the agile workflow, daily scrum meeting, weekly plan meeting, etc.

Required Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a technology-related discipline is preferred 5+ years of software development experience Advanced scripting abilities in Python, Java,JavaScript, Bash, etc. Ability to learn and adapt quickly on new technology Experience in web application development in both monolithic and micro services architectures
