You love using your software skills and creative thinking to solve complex problems and want to work with others to do so. You ’ re an engineer with a deep understanding of software and a real knack for optimising and simplifying code. You take pride in your work and you want to deliver world class software in an extremely competitive environment.

What you ’ ll do

Working closely with our trading department and other offices, you ’ ll be building our automated trading systems and connections to exchanges in China. You ’ ll be working collaboratively with other excellent developers as well as researching and integrating new technologies into our systems as the opportunities arise.

Your skills and experience • 1-5 years of industry software engineering / development experience using C/C++ • A passion for delivering high quality software which is simple, fast and reliable • Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to drive innovation and work in a self-sufficient manner • An understanding of a broad range of technologies, such as operating systems, multithreading, networking, databases and virtualisation • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience with TDD, agile methodologies, visualisation or low latency systems would be nice but are not essential • Industry experience with C#, Java or Python will also be highly regarded.
