= =||，英文不好吗？"Pokémon Go could ... have used ..." 翻译过来的意思是"Pokemon Go 可能使用了 XXX"，也就是这的结论完全是这个和 Pokemon Go 开发商完全没有关系的人的猜测。
Niantic 以前开发的 Ingress 使用的地图数据就是 google 的，你可以打开 ingress.com/intel ，看右下角的 ToS

对了， Niantic 就算开放国内 GPS 锁，也不需要从国内地图供应商购买任何数据， Google Maps 的中国部分非常详细，部分小区具体到每幢楼的编号都有，记得不错的话应该是买的高德的数据。

文章里面的确是有提到 Niantic 的身世 would suggest that 他们有来源于 Google 的数据
但也提到 Pokemon Go 的法律文件里面没有提到它引用了这什么地图数据（ the game ’ s in-app page of legalese doesn ’ t mention any source for the mapping data ）。 这让作者感到很奇怪，因为大部分提供商都会要求写明 license 。于是作者根据这些猜测他们是用了美国政府的 TIGER 数据库，因为这个不需要 cite

作者也有联系 Niantic ， 但他们拒绝回答了地图数据的来源。

所以依然是个迷~

@sfree2005 他的猜测的唯一依据就是 Niantic 没有提供地图数据来源，而大多数地图数据供应商会要求使用者引用数据来源。拜托，这也能叫依据？和 xjb 猜差不多吧。
而到你嘴里又成了什么，“<最大可能>是来自美国政府的一个不算完整地图数据”。文字玩弄的真好。

“最大可能”的確是我的主觀判斷。我認為在作者的猜測中，（我認為）那個是他認為最大的可能，這個的確不夠嚴謹
