We have looked into this with Alipay, and have determined that the design of Alipay counts on the consumer completing a redirect after putting in their banking details and authorizing. In something like 5% of cases that redirect doesn't happen meaning alipay never informs us that the transaction is complete. That may be because the buyer closed their browser before the final redirect, or may be any number of other causes that Alipay hasn't identified. While FastSpring sees this happen about 5% of the time, Alipay informs us most other merchants see it even more often. Alipay does not believe there is a problem on the FastSpring side, it is just a limitation of their current flow design.
The orders you referred to are time-outs and will not complete.
