官方自称是一个photography workflow application and RAW developer。它有两个模式，一个是lighttable，里面显示图片集，用来筛选图片，还可以给图片加tag，加星等；另一个模式是darkroom，是对单张图片做处理用的。
支持多种常见的发行版，很容易安装。另外它也支持Mac。
