Working in our shared engineering tribe, you will work as an iOS specialist, being an amplifier for mobile development across the company.
SafetyCulture is on a mission to deliver a world-class inspections experience for both our web and mobile apps through iAuditor - we need you to ensure we are providing the best mobile experience to our customers.
You will provide strong technical knowledge and insight into iOS development using Swift, C++ as well as a small amount of Objective C.
You will coach and mentor engineers towards an outcome that will contribute to the overall customer problem they are trying to solve.

Help remove technological blockers that are a barrier to high autonomy.
Understand all aspects of the customer experience in a mobile application, including UX, performance, networking, usage data and crash reporting.
Have a passion and connection to our company mission and vision - building software with a massive social impact.
You will join one of our multi-functional teams focusing on removing a lot of our old frontend which has been built in Ember.js and replacing it with React.js. You will need to be very experienced in Javascript libraries. This is a hands-on role working with 3-4 other Software engineers.
Our tech stack includes React, AWS, microservices, Golang, Native apps and C++ for mobile.

Requirements
You have substantial experience in multiple JavaScript libraries, preferably React.js and Ember.js
You are language agnostic and know that the challenge at hand is the most important
You build it well - write quality, clean code that you are happy to maintain 2 years from now Experience with a backend language, preferably Golang
You're passionate about microservices, platforms and API's that will allow us to ship even more innovative product
You know what it takes to build software that will be used by thousands of customers every hour, with no downtime
You can build the right solution to ship frequently, a solution that our customers trust with even their most critical operations
You can bring a healthy mix of speed, delivery and quality to everything you do
You want to work in a feature-driven environment. You are also someone who is a team player that makes key technology decisions, while at the same time being a mentor

Desirable skills:
Frontend edge infrastructure (e.g. AWS cloudfront, lambda)
Understanding of caching, server-side rendering, CDNs
Experience with frontend build pipelines and tooling, particularly around mono-repos and - automation testing
