第一，开发指导是书面语不是口语；我对 require 表达“不得不”语气表示怀疑，需要示例。
第二，“[It] [will be required] [as an option] [for users]” ，“[It] [will be required] [as an option for users]”，区别只在于是 it for users 还是 an option for users，与是否强制无关。

如果你把 required 当形容词，则含义为，对于用户来说它是必须的，明显是不可能的。
所以它是 require 的过去分词（表被动），表示它被需要，没有强制的含义，若要表达强制含义则要借助情态动词，如：It 「 must 」 be required as an option for users in apps that support third-party sign-in when …….
