Google Play Privacy Slip-Up Sends App Buyers' Personal Details to Developers
Android developer Dan Nolan has discovered that Google sends developers the personal information of customers who have purchased their apps. The information is obtained via a developers Merchant Account, and can include customer's email address and full name. Google Play's Terms of Service make no mention of what their practices are for sharing such information, and it is not known if developers of free apps have the same data available to them.
