Finance Analyst | Location: Beijing Position Purpose An Analyst to work with the finance and consulting leadership team to provide finance support for China and Hong Kong. This position is a hands-on member of in-country finance team, with a heavy focus on supporting the commercial side of the business and in all the Order To Cash Processes like opening and closing projects, invoicing, collections, etc. Other aspects include: • Supports and answers questions from the CFM lead in the region about profitability of our projects and working capital issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for assisting with a variety of areas which could include: Project financial management, including: Works with Project Managers to monitor engagement profitability. Analyze, resolve and communicate anomalies or results to customers both internal and external. Works with Delivery to ensure that all projects are invoiced correctly and on-time. Works with the CFM Lead and the Service Center team to confirm all Customer invoices get paid on time, and deals with Delivery and/or Business Development if any issue with an invoice arises Ensures that contract database, engagement pricing and revenue reporting are setup and updated appropriately
Data and Reporting: Assist with financial reporting in key financial metrics (revenue, project margin, etc) Prepares sales travel spend report and other analytical reports Assist under the guidance of CFM lead to provide appropriate engagement-specific financial data for regional budgets and forecasts.
Month-End Closing: Prepare monthly accruals and send to CFM Lead for review. Review of month end financials
Time & Expense system training: Deliver myTE training to new hire employees under the initial guidance of CFM Lead and Specialist Answer myTE related questions from employees
Involves in ad-hoc projects/requests

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • 2-5 years of experience; 2-3 years financial control experience in a highly commercial and international environment. • Bachelor degree in accounting.
Additional Area, Region or Service Line specific requirements:
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin • Able to work independently in fast paced environment • Ability to prioritize tasks and be proactive on follow up on issues. • Able to operate as a detailed, hands-on person within the local finance team • Working knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of MS Windows based software packages: Word, Outlook, etc. • Ability to identify and make recommendations regarding process improvement. Ability to quickly learn new skills and apply the learning • Working knowledge of SAP Financials is a plus • Working knowledge of US GAAP is a plus • Knowledge of consulting companies/IT industry is a plus
