Our Exciting Opportunity PDU Cloud is responsible for the development of Cloud Products and Solutions. The current Cloud Solution is based on the PDU cloud products CEE(IaaS), CCD(K8s_aaS), SDI(Software-defined Hardware) & SDN together with EO(Cloud Orchestrator), which provides an NFV and Cloud-Native Infrastructure for our Ericsson and 3PP VNFs/cNFs/Applications. The solutions are rapidly evolving towards Distributed Cloud and containerization to support the 5G Service based architecture.

We are now hiring a System Manager to evolve our solution, to strengthen and shape the technology evolution towards distributed Cloud solutions and containerization. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work.

You will

• You will drive strategic technical leadership

• Join the Cloud Architecture Forum

• Advocate our Cloud Infra or PaaS Infra offerings to Internal and external developers/customers

• Be engaged in the Open-Source community for upstream contributions

• Be engaged in crucial tech discussions with customer CxO and business competitors

• Study and opportunity analysis for architecture design, implementation proposal, and prototyping based on requirements or product future evolution

• Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.

• Hands-on(either prototyping or production level coding) and lead the development and integration of high-quality products(IaaS SW or K8S distribution)

• Drive in technology evolution such as customer engagement towards a distributed cloud

• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

• Develop competence in the technical domain

To be successful in the role you must have

• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent with more than 5 years of working experiences

• Domain experience: Deep knowledge about Cloud, Distributed Cloud, System solution & integration, Automation and configuration management tooling

• Strong software technology knowledge, such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, OpenDaylight, as well as general Host OS techniques and programming languages

• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge

• Experience with VNFs both Ericsson and External

• Business understanding and customer insight

• Ability to work with people and networking; innovating, adapting, and responding to change

• Standardization/Open Source Knowledge

• Strong English, spoken and written
