The Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven Business Process Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in building automation and developing platforms that significantly improves Turn Around Time (TAT), optimizes operational efficiency and minimizes errors, which is critical in scaling our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements for software development projects.
- Design and develop efficient and scalable applications using AWS services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for both front-end and back-end components.
- Implement and maintain responsive user interfaces, ensuring an excellent user experience across various devices.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications using testing frameworks and tools to ensure reliability and robustness.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless and efficient deployment of applications in AWS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimize application performance, and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field
- Min 3-5 years of relevant experience in business process automation, experience in Fintech/financial services a strong plus.
- Strong experience in developing applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- AWS Knowledge: Primarily - Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudFormation, Glue and Athena
- Serverless architecture and microservices development experience.
- Experience with testing frameworks - Jest and Cypress, and unit/integration testing best practices.
- Experience with SVG manipulation and integration is a plus.
- Some experience with Ansible for configuration management is required.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with deployment processes using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) is a plus.
