We are now looking for a: Front-End Web Developer, China
The DMO team is responsible for the key digital marketing platforms including Web, Social Media, Paid Media and email campaigns. We are looking for a Web Developer based in Beijing, China to help improve NVIDIA’s web experience in China. The Web Developer will help to ensure timely delivery of new web pages for product launches, events and updates for China. The web developer will work closely with the APJ DMO team, Creative team and both Consumer and Enterprise marketing teams. The role reports into the Web Team Manager for Asia Pacific.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with the Global DMO as well as the China Field Marketing teams to implement and track Digital Marketing Organization (DMO) projects aligned to the APJ DMO priorities
- Manage deployment and integration of new digital marketing platforms with strong change management. Introduce digital marketing tools to field sales & marketing team
- Manage and execute Website refresh for both Consumer and Enterprise Marketing
- Demonstrate knowledge of current and upcoming industry digital marketing platforms, standards and trends; benchmark NVIDIA performance against industry best practices
- Demonstrate knowledge of digital marketing in China, working with a cross-functional, multicultural marketing team
- Regular monitoring of SEO and web traffic metric. Analysis, reporting and updates as required
What we need to see:
- University Degree with at least 10 years relevant working experience
- Five or more years of experience in web development, web server administration and project management
- Well-versed with front-end coding in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages. REST APIs, JSON and XML
- Familiarity with Linux command line
- Knowledge of content caching and CDNs
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
- Proficient with database design, optimization, and tuning in MySQL
- Experience in design patterns, unit testing, automation and tuning in MySQL
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, Redshift, etc.)
- Exposure to collaborating tools like Git, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience with MVC Frameworks
- Exposure to SCRUM methodology, and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery
- Experience in mobile support, DOM, RWD and table-less markup
- Cross-browser compatibility and testing
- Solid knowledge in SEO, keyword research and Google/Adobe Analytics
- Experience in web and social analytics reporting
- Strong design sense
- Experience with mobile platform and leveraging key Social media platforms in China such as WeChat and Weibo
- Up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- China market experience is a must
