Sidecar 开机不能自动选择屏幕源，即便连着线。

反正我觉得没必要啦 这个场景太少了 mac mini 要想平时没屏幕 那早就有解决方案了 用不上 sidecar 顺便 sidecar 的意思就是摩托车边上那个兜 重点还是摩托车本体

试试 Luna Display
Yes, it is possible to use your iPad as the only display for the Mac mini after you complete the set up for Luna Display.
Please note, an external display will be needed during the initial setup process for Luna Display.

If you'd like to avoid using an external display every time you turn the Mac on, you will need to set your Mac mini up for automatic login and disable FileVault.
This way when you shut off your computer and allow it to restart any apps upon bootup, your Mac Mini will just autologin and run the Luna software at startup.

也曾这么想过 (比如 nuc + GoBigger 那种 type-c 便携显示器, 体积要更小), 问题是, 如果是出门用 /出差的场景, 你还得带着鼠标和键盘啊, 加上电源线各种线, 一套下来要带的东西不少了, 还不一定有插头, 嘿~ 到最后都是老老实实 mbp.

我已经试过了，没法开机启动就用 iPad 显示桌面，必须得点击链接，不能自动化

有没有第三方 app 可以设置开机连接 iPad 当屏幕，然后等开机之后再手动切换成 sidecar

测试了一下，用任意第三方远程桌面软件，设置开机自启，Mac 系统自动登录，然后 iPad 端先使用第三方软件连接到 Mac，忍受一下卡顿，开启随航模式，设置为“镜像随航显示器”，然后退出远程软件即可，如果担心 Wi-Fi 速度慢，可以用 type-c 线缆连接，显示效果比我的 1080P 显示器好太多了🤣

@Themyth 文字描述的确很复杂，实际上设置好之后，就三步，打开 ipad 远程控制 app 连接电脑，然后连接随航显示器，然后退出远程控制 app，就搞定了
