这里实际情况是：对环境变量的修改只对当前会话（ session ）有效。永久性的改变应该在环境里设定

在运行过程中对 PATH 和任意环境变量的修改都不是永久的，永久性的修改应该在.bashrc 文件中完成。
这样翻，不知行不行。

on the fly 可以理解为未落地，也就是 in the cache 。翻译成永久 /非永久没什么问题，只不过翻译的不够艺术。

我觉得这个不是是不是同位语的问题。 on the fly 不该和 permanent 对比，也不适合修饰 modifications 。或者说，它是状语而不是定语。
