We are looking for developers for our SW development team in Wuhan. In this role your work in close co-operation with the lead developer to implement technical requirements. You have some experience on Java coding and possibly also on Python & C/C++ coding. Beneficial is familiarity of security testing, protocol development, using network analyzing tools like Wireshark, and familiarity with virtualization techniques such as VMWare or VirtualBox. You need to be able to read and understand technical specifications written in English and produce English language documentation of your work. Good spoken English is beneficiary. Skills required: • Accept and learn from guidance provided by your development mentor/lead developer • Troubleshoot and solve product issues • Write production quality code that is maintainable, easy to troubleshoot, and efficient • Read English language specifications and other documents • Create documentation as required, in English • Complete assigned tasks on time • Familiarity with Linux, Windows and modern sw development & testing tools

In this role, you will work closely with Synopsys developers and existing technical support staff to provide high-quality support to our customers.
Tasks essential to this position include: • Troubleshoot incoming customer problems through email and/or phone conversations. • Work with existing global teams and developers to provide resolution to customer issues. • Research and respond to customer requests and provide detailed explanations to address questions and concerns from some of the world ’ s brightest developers and software architects. • Support the product release process of new versions • Mentoring the global team on best practices and cutting edge technologies
Qualifications • Self-starter with the ability to work with a fantastic global team • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • Minimum 3 years experience in technical support or development • Ability to read and debug one or more of the following languages C/C++, C#, Objective C, Java • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with variety of industry hardware platforms, operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows, etc.). • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards (e.g. TCP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SIP, OSPF, BGP, etc.) • Experience in multiple compiler environments gives you top priority in our hiring queue! • Extensive technical expertise; the ability to solve problems and determine the root cause of issues. • Ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment.
