語源 / Etymology

ラテン語の annotatio（注記）に由来し、annotare（～に注をつける）という動詞から派生した。**ad-**（～に向けて）と notare（記す、印をつける）が組み合わさった語で、16世紀頃から英語で使われるようになった。
